cheap lighted imitation draw stops like other digital organs.
Real Time Generation of
the pipe sound: Not sampled sounds like other organs. Computer systems generate
each pipe sound note by note in real time.
North German Baroque,
French Romantic, Traditional English: Each church organ is built to each client's specifications and
tonal requirements
Totally independent
voicing: Each stop is voicable through the entire compass of the stop.
Due to the nature of real time generation, our systems offer far
more control over various aspects of pipe speech than other sampled
systems. The hallmark of any pipe organ is its tonal success in the
room As with pipe organs, harpsichords, violins and any other
musical instrument which is handmade, the ear and tonal expectations
or concept of the builder will render different results for each
instrument from each builder. So, it is reasonable to say that the
human part of the equation affects the quality of sound as much as
the physical properties of the instrument.
Pipe like
characteristics: Real time generation allows adjustment in many
of the same principals of pipe speech. We can actually replicate
these characteristics ranging from the rock solid characteristics of
many classic designs to the subtle nuances of the most articulate
French, German, and Dutch pipe organs.
One of inspirations of both
listening to and playing a magnificent pipe organ in a spectacular
worship space or concert hall is the impact room acoustics play in the
final sound of the organ. This is probably the single biggest advantage
of any high quality digital organ over a pipe organ besides cost. A pipe
organ's success or failure as a rewarding and enjoyable instrument to
both play and listen to is often determined by the acoustical properties
of its environment. For many churches and home studios, proper acoustics
are often non-existent.
